Sara hates to work out...seriously. She would rather throw a party and play than go to the gym any day, that's why she loves teaching dance inspired fitness programs, like Zumba and Dance Out!
Although she is new to the group fitness world, Sara has been dancing for over 20 years. She was a member of several nationally ranked performing arts groups and danced at the University of Kentucky on their dance team. She is certified in Zumba Fitness and has taken master classes and workshops with Beto Perez, creator of Zumba, and Tanya Beardsly, International Zumba Education Specialist and host of the 2008 DVD series, as well as many other Zumba Educators.
Sara is a head instructor for Queen City Dancing Queen and leads the Charlotte area. When she's not teaching her own classes, she can be found jamming with many other QCDQ instructors around town almost any night of the week.
Queen City Dancing Queen has always believed that in an ideal world everyone would be able to reap the physical and mental benefits of fitness through dancing, this is why they created Fitness for Everyone. Unfortunately, our current economic situation is not ideal and many people who are searching for ways to make ends meet end up cutting back or giving up entirely on their exercise. QCDQ wants everyone who wants to take our classes to be able to do so. Through Fitness for Everyone, QCDQ offers a variety of ways that participants can join the party, even if they can’t afford to. It is in stressful times like this that you need MORE stress relieving, endorphin pumping, feel good booty shaking! Please email Sara for more information.
If you don’t like traditional exercise because you find it both boring and excruciating, but do like to dance and have fun, then Queen City Dancing Queen has the right classes for you. Come "Shake it like Shakira" with Sara and see how you can start your path to fitness in a completely different way than you ever imagined.

June 12, 2009 - 7:49 pmSara is the kind of person everyone needs in their life. There have been days where I'd really rather stay home and relax, but when it's Sara's Zumba night, I just HAVE to go! She believes in you, and opens her heart to everyone that walks through the door to her classes. She makes everyone feel welcome, and I just love the inspirational clips she reads before her Tuesday night classes!

June 6, 2009 - 10:40 pmI remember the very first time I saw Sara at a Friday night DanceOut class. She was just a participant like all the rest of us, but I noticed even then what a talented dancer she was. At the end of class she was asking about being an instructor, and that was one of the best moves she's ever made! She is a fantastic teacher and motivator. She's just beautiful on the inside and the outside and makes you want to give 110% to every workout you attend. You know if Sara's going to be at your class it will be just a little more fun that day. We all love her and are thrilled to know that other people recognize her talent too. It couldn't happen to a more deserving young lady!

June 6, 2009 - 2:00 pmI love coming to Sara's Zumba classes--you can tell she really loves what she does. She exudes energy from the moment class begins until the very last song, and she makes me feel like a good dancer even though I know I have no rhythm! I am always very sweaty but very happy at the end of class! Thanks Sara!

June 4, 2009 - 11:11 pmMy nickname for Sara is little firecracker! Her classes are popping with energy and she continues to give it! I'm always amazed at how much enthusiasm and personality she brings to her classes. My first group class was with her (I gave up group classes a while ago), but I was hooked with one class and can't ever imagine quitting. Not with Little Firecracker on the scene!

June 3, 2009 - 4:10 pmWOW....I am soo thrilled to see one of my best friends recognized for her amazing ability to not only do something that she loves, but also impact so many lives in such a wonderful way. Living in Ky I am not able to attend the fabulous classes taught by Sara, however on a visit to Charlotte I was fortunate enough to make it to a Friday class. One word AMAZING...Sara made this the most exciting group fitness class that I have ever attended. He charisma, joy and overall happiness made one hour seem to be only 10 minutes. She truly is a blessing and extraordinary at making people enjoy life no matter what. Charlotte and QCDC are very lucky to have Miss Sara Bremer...we miss her tremendously in KY!!

June 3, 2009 - 3:06 pmThe first week I started taking classes with QCDQ, Sara was out of town, but all the instructors there are great and really motivate you to move and have fun, so I did just that. But, I have to say, when I met Sara I was blown away...her energy is amazing - kind of like mine used to be 20 years ago! But, she makes me feel like I can still have that same level of energy. The VERY best is when she jams with class participants on the dance floor during class - it makes me want to work even harder and it REALLY is FUN exercise - I swear! If you haven't yet, come out and join us at a QCDQ class - it will change your life, like it has changed mine!!

June 2, 2009 - 4:06 pmSara is a wonderful person and a personal hero to so many, it's great to see her recognized here. My wife and I found Sara and the QCDQ experience a year ago and couldn't be happier for it. Men take note: Sara's energy, enthusiasm, and excitement is contagious and I've lost five full inches off my waist to prove it. I call Sara the Zumbanator because she will terminate your bad mood along with those extra pounds. You may go to her class tired, stressed and upset, yet be assured you're going to leave rejuvenated, invigorated, and exuberant. Check the website for details and I see'll you at Sara's next party...

June 2, 2009 - 1:06 pmSara is one of the most energetic people I have ever met. She truly embodies the spirit of QCDQ and moves like no one else. Her classes inspired me from the very beginning and I love to jam with her and the other instructors nightly. Sara's favorite part of her day is dancing and I love coming to class to see what she will "break out" for us. Ask anyone-no one can move like Sara. She constantly challenges us to be the best we can be yet is always encouraging us to move the way we want to move. It is because of her enthusiasm and encouragement that I am looking to becoming an instructor. Sara, I'm so proud of you!!! YOU ROCK!!! :)

June 2, 2009 - 12:42 pmMy FAVORITE part of the week is going to rock out with QCDQ at Sara's Friday "Dance Out" class. I LOVE the "if you're moving, you're doing it right!!" philosophy that Sara really helps everyone embody....she is constantly running out into the class and dancing with us, showing us fun variations on moves, and hootin' and hollerin', all which helps to make it the MOST fun dance party you'll ever attend. :) I am SO very proud of Sara, and thrilled to see her being recognized for the huge contribution she has made to enhancing fitness opportunities in Charlotte.
